Project/SubProject Dashboard

I was working on trying to get a dashboard setup and I am not sure what I am attempting to do will work. We would like to set the status of all "work packages" for all sub-projects underneath the main project. 

Main Project 
- Work Package:
○ Task1
○ Task2
• SubProject1
- Work Package:
○ Task3
○ Task4
• SubProject2
- Work Package:
○ Task5
○ Task6

Is there a way, using the "Overview" (Dashboard?) feature to see the status of all of the Work package tasks (1-6) in "Main Project"? 

I know I can go into "Modules" and develop some reports (Time and Costs), but it does not appear that the "Overview" reaches down into the "subproject" level?

you can use the global work package overview (click on Modules in the upper right corner) to display WPs from all projects. 

you can also set filters in the WP list so that subprojects are included.
