Work Package View Filter / Use of Wildcards

Added by John R over 4 years ago

Currently in the "My Page"/"Work Packages Create by Me" view, I would like to filter Projects that DO NOT contain a certain set of key words.

Unfortunately, the only option under the "Filters" for Project is IS/IS NOT. Is there a capability to say "IS NOT" and have a wild card, i.e.
IS NOT %report% or IS NOT *report* ?

My first idea would be:

on a regularly basis try to use a given key word, ie. "report" in the comments section. Or just create a custom text field, where you can then put given key words. That way you could easily follow these steps:

filter

add filter > select the field you know a key word is (or is not) always in,

if you choose "Comment" field or any text field, then you have the option in the drop list "does not contain".

As of here seems clear.

Cheers,

Piotr
