Did activity view filters change with V11.0?

Hi there, I used to be able to filter project activities by "activities with comments". That is not possible anymore, it seems. Is that a change that came with upgrade to version 11.0?

Hi Daniel, as far as I know this was not a change that came with 11.0 but has been around for a longer time.

If you want you could create a feature request (https://docs.openproject.org/development/submit-feature-idea/).

Hi Matthias, thanks for your reply. Maybe there is a feature already and I just don't know of it... Dies OP have a feature for discussions within one project? Within a task I have this option:

It helps to filter all the status change etc. activities.

How do you do this for a whole project?

Hi Daniel,
I don't think I fully understand what you want to achieve.

To communicate within a project you could use

  • the wiki
  • the project overview (admin would write something about the project)
  • the news module

Hi Matthias,

most communication is within work packages, concerning the work package. But often we want to see what all communication within a project was. ("I wrote this down somewhere but I don't remember which work package it was in!")

Hi Daniel,
do you already know the Activities module (https://docs.openproject.org/user-guide/activity/)?
If this is not what you were looking for please feel free to create a feature request for this (https://docs.openproject.org/development/submit-feature-idea/). It should outline what you want to achieve and an idea how to achieve it.
