Hi, is it possible to force developers to make at least a comment when they forward the status of a work package item? I would highly appreciate that.
I've done some further research and found these feature requests: #32443 #31149
I'm hoping one of those gets implemented. Is there anything I can do right now?
Kind regards
Hi,
I voted on the feature request on your behalf. Apart from that you could develop the feature yourself (this helps getting started: https://docs.openproject.org/development/) and/or add a comment to the feature request explaining your use case.
Otherwise I'll have to ask you to be patient. As a workaround you could think of allowing certain status transitions only for certain users (e.g. head of development): https://docs.openproject.org/system-admin-guide/manage-work-packages/work-package-workflows/
