Strange behaviour on budget entries, please help!

Added by Niels Voo over 4 years ago

For some reasons I don't understand, after editing a budget the numbers changing after saving.

For instance:

  1. Ive created a budget with 64 labor ours, total amount 10 EUR (Picture 1)
  2. Ive saved the changes and verified it (Picture 2)
  3. Ive re-opened the budget, change nothing an just save again (Picture 3)

As you can see the budget is changed to another value.

What's wrong, is this a bug?

Thanks for you advice.

I have the same problem.

It could have to do with the currency format. You can set this in the administration of budgets. But what does "%n %u" mean ?

Also I find it strange that the number of pieces is not multiplied by the price when you look at it in the overview.

But what does "%n %u" mean ?

%n is a placeholder for the numerical unit of the currency, while %u is the currency value entered in the form above. This needs to be better documented.

What version are you running on? This sounds like this bug: #32822

Best

It is this bug. I use OpenProject 10.6.5 (PostgreSQL) .
