Hi Kuma,

could you elaborate on what went wrong? "Did not work" will not provide us any help on how to improve the migration path.

In general, you should be able to migrate with:

  1. Creating a database dump from your docker postgresql using our Docker backing-up guide
  2. Installing an OpenProject package. In the wizard, choose to select install for the postgres step.
  3. This will install a PostgreSQL server with an OpenProject database on it.
  4. Afterwards, restore the dump with our packaged restoring guide

The only remaining thing is to restore attachments, which you can simply copy and paste to the location specified in the restoring guide as well.

Cheers

Oliver

Hi Oliver

I created a dump file openproject.sql from the docker postgresql.

and then followed the restoring guide to import the openproject.sql to another container, the logs you already seem.

I did tried to restoring the openproject.sql in a DEB/RPM PostgreSQL, it says not a valid dump file.

I have no idea what have I missed.
