Taskboard>Tasks show up in the left most User Stories column

My assumption of how the Taskboard works is it shows User Stories in the left column and then the Tasks by status to the right of each User Story.
However, currently I am viewing Tasks and Features in the User Story column of my Taskboard. Is it possible to only show User Stories in that left column ?

I created Tasks from the Work packages module rather than the Backlog module. Would that be the issue ?

Any help on this would be highly appreciated !!
