Let's Encrypt support

Added by Guillermo Avalos about 5 years ago

Any ideas if it'd be possible to add a Let's Encrypt certificate for OpenProject? I'm using the packaged install in a CentOS 7 server.

Hi Guillermo,

we don't ship with Let's Encrypt, but you can easily add this to your packaged installation with the following easy commands:

https://docs.openproject.org/installation-and-operations/configuration/ssl/#create-a-free-ssl-certificate-using-lets-encrypt

You will need to reconfigure your OpenProject packaged installation with openproject reconfigure to select the SSL certificates created by Let's Encrypt.

Best

Oliver

Excellent! Thank you so much. I’ll keep this handy for when we decide to expose our server. In the meantime, and as a intranet resource I have no need to install it.
