Quick links to documents and wiki in editors

Added by Jason Culligan about 5 years ago

When I'm editing text in a comment or description within a work package, sometimes I need to reference a document in the documents or page in the wiki with a link.  But I have to save, close the editor, go to the document or wiki location and manually find the URL, copy the link and then go back into the editor to paste it.  Is there an easier way to do this?

Hi Jason,

as mentioned in the other post, you can either use document#<ID> or document:"Title of the document" to create a link in the backend. It does not provide any functionality within the WYSIWYG, unfortunately.

I added this to https://docs.openproject.org/user-guide/wysiwyg/#links-to-openproject-resources

Best

Oliver
