Copyright owner

On Jan 15, 2020 massive change was committed to git where Copyright owner was changed from OpenProject Foundation (OPF) to OpenProject GmbH.

I missed announcement about that either as a separate post or in 10.4 Release Notes. And explanation why this was done and how things will evolve in the future are required.

On a practical (development) side I had unfinished contribution for feature#26625 where several new files were added. If I contribute them to whom should I assign copyright? Will it be legal if I only signed contribution agreement with OPF, not OpenProject GmbH?
