Timelines - Where is the planning element shown in the video on the website?

Hello, I’m new to OpenProject and I am trying to use the Timelines feature. I watched the video on your website which shows a “Planning Element” function. However, when I click on Timeline this option is not exposed. When I choose Timeline, I am taken to the Timeline reporting feature. Has the planning element function been moved to a different area?

Are there any more videos or documentation about Timelines?

Hi S. Donald,

the documentation ot the timeline feature is indeed out-of-date. Planning elements and issues were combined to work packages which are displayed in both the former issue list and the timeline.
We are currently working on a comprehensive user guide to explain the functionality of OpenProject in detail (as also mentioned in this message).

In the meantime you can find some information in the timeline specific release notes for OpenProject 3.0. You may also want to take a look at the extensive walk through document by Brendan.
