Visualization of Relations between workpackages

Added by Gerald Mwangi over 5 years ago

Hello, I am new to this forum and looking to deploy OpenProject in our company. Is it possible to display workpackages in a hierarchical view based on their relations, similar to the hierarchy view based the parent/child statuses?

We are also willing to buy the enterprise version if this feature is contained in that version.

Thanks

Hello Gerald,

With the OpenProject Enterprise Edition you can display relations directly in the work package list and expand or collapse them (similarly to parent-child relations):

If you would like to test this for yourself, you can request a 14 day trial license to temporarily upgrade your Community Edition to the Enterprise Edition (afterwards you automatically switch back to the Community Edition). To do this, go to https://www.openproject.org/enterprise-edition/ , click on the button "Get free trial license" and follow the steps.

You will then receive a trial license along with instructions by email.
