[Backlogs] Copy vs Duplicate

Added by Željko Trogrlić over 9 years ago

I don’t get what is the idea behind the “Copy” vs “Duplicate”. What I found so far is that:

  • Duplicate does “shallow” copy of the WP (including sub- work packages)
  • Copy does “deep” copy of the WP (excluding sub- work packages) with limited options for modification
    • Copy makes shallow copy and asks for filter (?!)
    • Copy follow just makes shallow copies as expected

What are the typical use cases for all these options? Can you please document it somewhere?

As both words are synonyms can you think of more distinctive names?
