How can I see progress on all projects in one place?
Added by Kristin Antin about 5 years ago
Hello, I am new to OpenProject - we just installed the free version on our organisation's server to try it out. I want to use this to manage the 30-50 projects we implement with our partners each year. Each project has a beginning and an end, a budget, tasks, etc. But not all require development. We're managing the development of our software in a different place - Github.
As Director of Programmes, I want to be able to see the big picture of where we're at with our projects - which ones are falling behind, when we're able to take on new ones, etc. I've been studying the guides and forum and videos all day but cannot figure out how to do this. I think the closest things I've seen to this are: "reporting" (something I noticed on this community.OpenProject site) and roadmap (but I don't even see this option on our self-hosted OpenProject).
I feel like I must be missing something very obvious and important, because it seems like this is a very important feature for a project management software, so I really appreciate someone pointing me to the right place to figure this out! Thank you!
