restoring deleted item from work package

Added by Milos Puzovic almost 6 years ago

Is it possible to restore items that have been deleted from work package?

We have noticed that if an item (such as task) has been deleted in a work package then all subitems are deleted too? We would like to restore subitems that have been deleted as we were not expecting to see them deleted.

Many thanks,
Milos.

Hi Milos,

that's unfortunately not possible. Work packages are fully destroyed with their associations, so it's unfeasible to restore them. Starting somewhere in OpenProject 8.x, the destroy modal will show you any subitems that will be destroyed with it, so it should not come as a surprise:
