Start / Stop timer or only logging afterwards?

Is it possible to start logging when you start on a project, and end when you are finished?
Or only add logging afterwards?

Anyone please help me to do this. This is really great feature instead of manually entering the time spent on task/bug.

Old but classic. Having a start/stop timer would be very nice

I don't like timers plugins. Users often forget to start/pause it and it's difficult to change the entries later on. Better to keep with manual timers
