Interfacing with external systems

Hi,

I'm relatively new to OpenProject and we are getting started with the Enterprise edition. 

I want to have a particular status change in the workflow, initiate an update in an external system. A REST call would be ideal.

Is there anyway I can specify something like this in a work flow ( or elsewhere in the system).
