How to add a Git Repo to a project

Added by Chris Rooney over 11 years ago

Good afternoon all,

Are there any instructions that explain how to add a git repository to my project? I have gitlab installed and running, but when I point openproject to the repository, I get the following error:

“The entry or revision was not found in the repository.”

Can OP get the data directly from gitlab? Or do I need to checkout the code with git, and point to that?

Cheers
Chris

Never mind, it turns out that I needed to put something in the repository, it didn’t like it being empty.

Cheers
Chris

Let me know if it successfully stays up to date for you. I never see more than my initial pull.
