Password reset url not working remotely.

Added by siddhesh kambli about 6 years ago

Dear Team,

My server is located at remote location. I have installed OP on my fresh Centos 7 and everything is working fine.

I access this server from web with www.example.com

but whenever I want to change the password. It sends a password reset link to a user, which fails to works.

The issue is with the link, their is a host name specified in the reset link which is unreachable to remote user.

Below is the reset link sample

http://test-server/account/lost_password?token=5551d3164319b26ea552dc4c14b3e254396e7246b866fec95ad701833b6bc123

Here when I replace the host name with the example.com or the public IP even that fails to work.

Please help to solve this issue.

Setup configuration

OS centos 7.

Traffic is routed from Nginx to HTTP server used by OP.

Routing on Nginx is  "proxy_pass"

Regards,

Siddhesh Kambli.
