Notify Bug-Reporters without letting them log in?

Added by Andreas G about 6 years ago

Hi,

I hope I'm at the right place with my question. I have to allow random people to report bugs via Email. This works right now.  We want to get them notified if the status on the work package changes, but we dont want them to be able to log in.

It seems like there is no option combination suitable to achive this:

  • If we use unknown_user=accept they can report without a problem, cannot login but also dont get notified on changes
  • If we use unknown_user=create they can report without a problem, but also can login, as they have a normal user account created

Is there any way (or a plugin) to do it?

Thanks and bye bye

Andreas
