Migrate projects from Cloud Edition to Enterprise Edition

Dear all,

I’m planning to subscribe to OpenProject Enterprise Edition as on-prem solution four our team. At the moment, our team runs some test projects in the Cloud Edition for evaluation. Concerning this, I have to questions:

  • How can projects from Cloud Edition be migrated to Enterprise Edition hosted on a local server?
  • Can projects from one Cloud Edition (evaluation) account be migrated to another Cloud Edition account (regular subscription)?

Dear Robin,

  • we can export the database and attachments of your Cloud Edition and import them in your Enterprise Edition. Since the Enterprise Edition includes installation support by our team we can do this free of charge.
  • we cannot easily migrate individual projects from one Cloud Edition account to another one since there may be different workflows, custom fields, dependency to other projects etc. in the environments. It is possible to migrate the entire database.

Hi there, I've same question but I'd like to move to Community version. So, what I'd like would be move everything from CLOUD (trial) to my local Community version. Is that possible ? or I must start from scratch ?
