  5. GIT - best practice ?

GIT - best practice ?

Added by Deleted user over 6 years ago

Hello everybody :-)

we use a mixed environment for version controll with svn and git.
First projects used SVN as main-Repo and it was easy to setup openproject repository (German false friend "Projektarchiv" - but that's an other  topic)
So now it is time to come to the question about what is best practice about setting up git.

Is there a statement from openoffice.org for that topic?

We prefere not to duplicate the git repository for openproject access, so we do not want to use mirroring via http or sth else.

The newest idea is to set up a automount with readonly access towards our git-server. So because this is the start of including git in openproject we want to ask if there is someone who can suggest us some kind of best practice :-)

Best Wishes,

Marco
