Welcome from the community

Dear software engineers, project managers, creatives, open source enthusiasts,

OpenProject is an open source web-based project collaboration platform. Yes, this is indeed no new idea, but it will make a difference.

We are very happy to announce that we are just building up the OpenProject community. Companies, organisations as well as individuals already collaborate, share ideas and are involved in the decision taking. Furthermore, the OpenProject Foundation is currently founded to give the community official guidance [2].

It’s just the beginning of our mission, so take the chance and get involved. If you are interested in open source web-based project collaboration and would like to spread your ideas within the community, write us an e-mail or just get active in the system.
We will publish more content shortly on this website. So, please be aware that it is not fine-tuned yet.

We have set up a sandbox project [3] where you are very welcome to check out the system.
