OpenProject Backlogs Plugin released

We are happy to announce the public release of the OpenProject Backlogs plugin working with the Rails3 OpenProject Core.

Added by Hagen Schink over 11 years ago

The OpenProject Backlogs plugin adds agile and scrum functionality to OpenProject. This includes for instance product and sprint backlogs, task boards, and burndown charts.

If you want to use the OpenProject Backlogs plugin for your project, you just need to enable the Backlogs module in the project settings’ Modules tab. The next step is to create versions in the project settings’ Versions tab. The created versions represent different backlogs to which you can assign tickets. Now, in the Backlogs view (available in the sidebar after enabling the Backlogs module), you can start to create tickets in different backlogs. If you want to assign existing tickets to a backlog, just set the tickets Target version accordingly.

  • The feature tour provides a user guide with more details on how to use the OpenProject Backlogs plugin
  • The official development repository resides at GitHub
  • If you find any bugs, you can report them at the Backlogs project page

This plugin is licensed under the GNU GPL v3.
