How to create a 'Self-assign button' (Enterprise add-on)

New blog post on how to create a 'Self-assign button' for work packages

Added by Corinna Günther about 1 year ago

Do you work as an administrator with Open Project? Then you should take 5 minutes now and have a look at our  Custom Actions! You'll get those five minutes back several times over in the long term when you and your colleagues quickly trigger actions on your work packages with custom actions (Enterprise add-on).

Read this blog post to find out how to build a 'Self-assign button', as an example for custom actions based on automated workflows.

No more scrolling to the assignee field, clicking, selecting your own name - just click on a button at the top of the work package and save time and nerves. Custom actions like these bring fun to project management!
