**Preconditions**
- Use Internet Explorer 9 or earlier.
**Steps to reproduce**
1. Navigate to a page - either by selecting a link (e.g. project from project dropdown) or by directly entering a URL.
2. Try with mulitple links (e.g. Link “Learn more” in flash message that browser is not supported, Login screen, My page, Projects, Cost report, Lates projects link etc.)
**Actual behavior**
- User gets always redirected to landing page.
- The browser automatically adds a ‘\#’ to the URL (right after host name, before path)
- Example:

https://enterprise-dev.qa.finn.de/#/my/page
when navigating to
https://enterprise-dev.qa.finn.de/my/page
**Expected behavior**
- User can access the page correctly. Links are not altered.
**QA system**
- enterprise-dev.qa.finn.de
- openproject-org.qa.finn.de
- OpenProject 4.0.0
