* Administration
* There is a feature flag to activate the new feature.
* EE: In the administration, there is a UI to define stages and gates (Administration -> Project -> Stages and gates)
* There is setting to differentiate a gate from a stage:
* A gate has only one date.
* A gate is visualized as a "diamond".
* There is a UI to select a color for each stage type/gate type.
* Project settings
* Stages and gates can be activated and deactivated at a project level (similiar to project attributes). A dedicated project permission is required to do this.
* When copying projects the active status of gates and stages are copied too.
* Project overview
* In the Project Overview there is a UI to show and edit stages and gates that are enabled for that project.
* There is a project permission to **see all** stages and gates in a project.
* There is a project permission to **edit all** stages and gates in a project.
* There is an edit action to be able to edit the dates for each stage and gate.
* Project list
* Select individual stages and gates as columns for a project list (there is no option to show/hide the columns for all stages and gates).
* The stage/gate is indicated in the column header as colored icon next to the name.
