**As a** project portfolio manager
**I want to** have an overview of the project timeline of the projects in different portfolios
**So that I** can more easily understand the status of each project in order to make portfolios decisions.

#### Derived acceptance criteria
**Summary**
* Central configuration of stages and gates in the administration.
* This setting can be changed on project level.
* There are separate permissions to CRUD stages and gates.
* There are separate permissions to active/deactivate stages and gates in the project settings.
**Administration**
* There is a feature flag to activate the new feature.
* In the administration there is a UI to create stages and gates (Administration -> Project -> Stages and gates)
* There is setting to differentiate a gate from a stage:
* A gate has no start date.
* A gate has no finish date.
* A gate is visualized as a "diamant".
* There is a UI to select a color for a stage type/gate type.
**Project overview**
* In the Project Overview there is a UI to show and edit stages and gates.
* There is a project permission to show and edit **all** stages and gates in a project.
* There is a date picker to edit start and finish date of a stage/gate. stage/gate.
* Indicate working days and non-working days.
* Non-working days can be selected. It is not enforced to select working days.
**Project List**
* Select stages and gates as columns for a project list
* The stage/gate is indicated in the column header as colored icon.
**Work package**
* A stage/gate is an attribute of a work package (similar to versions)
* It can be configured in the type settings.
**Out of scope**
* Project types
* Automatic scheduling and duration
* Inheritance/sharing
* Timeline/Gantt
