#### **How to organise a company in SharePoint**
SharePoint is organised by using sites. There are 20 different types of sites.
The most relevant types of sites to be used in combination with OpenProject are **Team Sites** and **Project Sites**
**Team Sites**
* Team sites are designed for collaboration within specific groups or departments. e.g. different departments (e.g., Marketing, HR, IT), project groups, or functional units.
**Projects Sites**
* Project sites are intended for collaboration on specific projects involving members who may come from different departments or teams.
When a team uses OpenProject they might be interested in **automatic managed folders** for their team site.
For project sites **No specific folder** or **Existing folder with manually managed permissions** might be the preferred choice.
#### **Other infos**
* There might be companies that have **only one document library** and organise the projects including permissions in OpenProject and use SharePoint for file storage and collaboration.
* Each sites can have multiple document libraries.
* While you can’t directly use the same physical document library across multiple team sites, SharePoint provides several methods to share, display, or link to a document library across different sites
* Document libraries can be linked to other pages
* Cross-site publishing allows you to use content from one or more authoring site collections in one or more publishing site collections.
* The admin can adjust sharing permissions of the document library to allow access to users from different team sites. This doesn't replicate the library but provides access to users who are not members of the site where the library is located.
####
#### **Prerequisites for AMPF on Sharepoint (by Admin via UI)**
* A new Document Library needs to be created.
* The permission inheritance needs to be broken for that Document Library.
* All non-owner permissions need to be removed to guarantee that only the correct users have access to it.
* On the Azure Application, an Application permission of Files.ReadWrite.All needs to be added (One Azure Application for multiple Document Libraries).
