# User Story
**As** a user in OpenProject
**I want to** be able to search for those work packages for which a Start or an End date has not been set,
**so that** I can create special views to monitor which packages hahve not yet been scheduled.
**Acceptance criteria**
* Add an "is empty" option to the operator to these filter criteria:
* Start/Finish date
* Custom fields of type Date
* When the "is empty" operator is selected, no additional field should be visible
# UX Idea

# Partial Work-around
For the standard "Date" field (range mode)
* you can use the standard field "Duration" to find out if both start/end is set or one of them is not set
