**Preconditions**

- Project custom field exists and has several custom values assigned.
- At least one of the custom values contains at least one space.
- Custom fields is set to “searchable” and custom value with space is assigned to a project.

**Steps to reproduce**

1. Go to search bar in top navigation (select “All projects” as search scope and check “Projects”).
2. Search for project custom field which is assigned to project (and contains space).
3. (Project cannot be found. The search works when no spaces are used in the custom value.)

**Actual behavior**

- Projects with custom values which contain spaces cannot be found by searching for custom values.

**Expected behavior**

- Projects with custom values which contain spaces can be found via custom values.

**Note**
This error is not unique to angular.qa.finn.de. It also occurs on openproject-org.qa.finn.de.
