**As** a project member working in very many projects
**I want to** easily understand my current notification settings and my options to make them as relevant as possible
**so that** I can easily adapt the notification settings so I stay on top of things as efficient easy as possible.
**Acceptance criteria**
* There is a default setting for all projects.
* User can create project specific notification settings that trump the default settings.
* In case of a new notification an in-app notification is created by default.
* In case the user does not login for a specific time (can be configured) an email alert is sent send to the user (only one email by work package). user.
* The default notification channel "In-app notifications" can not be deactivated. for new users is in-app.
_**UX problems**_
* Unclear that the individual project settings trump the default settings.
* We need to avoid that a user gets the same notifications on several channels (reduce spam).
* There too many events that break the table.
