**Steps to reproduce**
1. Go to Admin -\> Settings -\> Email notifications.
2. Set default notification option to “nothing”.
3. Perform an action which normally leads to a sending of an email.
**Actual behavior**
- Email is sent.
**Expected behavior**
- No email is sent.
