**As** an OpenProject user
**I want** to be collapse or expand all work package hierarchies
**so** that I can quickly change my project's aggregation.
**Acceptance criteria**
* When the hierarchy mode is activated, it should be possible to collapse or expand all work packages.
* When collapsing work packages they should be collapsed to the highest displayed parent level.
* When expanding work packages all hierarchy levels on the work package list should be expanded (not just direct children).
* It should be possible to save the selected hierarchy mode (expanded or collapsed) in the view.
*
**Visuals (needs to be updated by a UX expert - may want to use an icon instead of text, placement of icon may need to be changed):**
When moving throught the pagination the setting persist. at least one displayed work package hierarchy is expanded:

**Out of Scope** When all displayed work package hierarchies are expanded:
* Saving the collapse status per parent element. Only saved by hierarchy level for the entire table.
**Open**
* Integration with existing hierarchy-mode switch. <figure class="image"><img src="/api/v3/attachments/19163/content"></figure>
