Since at least version 7.2.0 it is not possible any more to update the id of the workpackage of time entries during reediting.
What I can do is: Change the ID to a work package in the same project.
What I would like to do (and what I was able to do in the past): Change the ID to a work package in a different project, so that I can correctly assign time entries which might have been entered wrong in the first place.
**Reproduction**
1. Log time on a work package.
2. Click on logged time.
3. Edit logged time entry.
4. Change work package ID to work package in other project.
5. Confirm.
