**Preconditions**
- Work package module activated.
- Parent work package exists.
- Gantt chart activated.
**Steps to reproduce**
1. Go to Gantt chart.
2. Select a work package and assign it as a child to a parent work package. -\> Error
3. Scroll to child work package and set its date. -\> Error
**Actual behavior**
- Page updates and focus gets lost / jumps to unrelated work package.
- User is confused since work packages seem to have “disappeared”.
**Expected behavior**
- Gantt chart udpates but context / focus is not lost.
