At first i want to thank you for the new Timeline mode. This one is much better to handle as the old timeline report.
While playing around with the GANTT we have encountered an error, thats results in much unused space in the GANTT Chart.
**Steps to reproduce:**
https://community.openproject.com/projects/openproject/work\_packages?query\_id=918
**Actual Behavior**
This GANTT will be rendered until 2019 which allocates much more space then is needed.
Additionally a scrollbar will be shown, that would not be necessary
The hint in the migration guide “Use the filters Start date and Due date to specify the displayed timeframe.”
Does not work propertly in any case ..

**Expected Behavior**
GANTT use only as much space as needed
<ins>Some additional remarks to GANTT:</ins>
I know that you aware that some errors which are browser related are present
- firefox only prints the table instead of the gantt chart
- IE and Edge dont print the vertical lines
Chrome gave us the best printing result.
What about adding an option to choose, if the workpackage table is printed or not.
One additional thing we had to struggle with was that the symbols where not rendered in the printed layout. This was caused by an missing tick in the print options of chrome (Background graphics). Maybe there should be an hint for users? Is this influenceable from the dev site?
