**Problem**
Currently, all children (and in turn all ancestors) of a work package are removed together with the work package once it is deleted. This is surprising as no message is displayed.
**Immediate solution**
1\. Open a dialog to confirm **Ideas**
- Notify user in confirmation message
- Show box asking the destruction of the work package
2\. If it has any children, list them and warn of their deletion
3\. Let the user confirm her choice in this way.
We can still offer what to do something with the children first, but if the user is aware of her actions, she can simply unlink the children first.
**Out of scope**
- Let the user choose to unlink all children before the parent is deleted.
