**Preconditions**
- Work package module activated.
- Firefox used.
**Steps to reproduce**
1. Go to https://testenvironment.openproject-edge.com/projects/demo-project/work\_packages and expand timeline view.
2. Create a follows-precedes relationship from WP 84 to WP 83 (using the timeline). =\> Error
3. Remove follows -precedes relationship with activated timeline using the split screen. =\> Error
**Actual behavior**
- Timeline loads very long, then browser becomes unresponsive.
**Expected behavior**
- Relationship created.
