In the current dev branch the logo upload has some quirks, that makes uploading a logo with satisfying results difficult.
Ideas how to improve it:
- Most images of logos have the logo centered in the middle. So do not position the uploaded logo at the left upper corner. Center it instead.
- Most the logo the same as its original and do not try to be clever. This makes the process more transparent for the uploader. So instead of stretching out the logo to fit its container, squeeze/stretch it to show completely.
- Improve instructions so that users know about the trick to double the dimensions for retina displays
- In the logo preview, use the current primary color as background to improve visibility of logos that are white on transparent background.
