This is probably opinionated.
When deactivating the hierarchy mode for the WP list, WPs that aren’t children of a WP appear to be. e.g:
In the screenshot only WPs 4, 5 and 53 are children of WP 3, but the bracket styling of WP 3 leads to WPs 7 and 52 appearing to be children as well.
I propose to deactivate the bracket styling if the hierarchy mode is deactivated.
