**Preconditions**
- Work package module activated.
- Work package exists.
- Work package has default type selected which is an invalid status (workflow).
**Steps to reproduce**
1. Open work package in split screen.
2. Open status (“Please select”) is displayed.
3. Change type to different type.
**Actual behavior**
- “Please select” is shown and no other status can be selected.
- When saving, error message is shown and changing type does not lead to updated status selection.
**Expected behavior**
- “Please select” is never shown. The status is kept (no other value can be selected if in invalid state).
