**Preconditions**
- Work package module activated.
- Custom fields exist and are used for some work packages in a project.
**Steps to reproduce**
1. Go to project settings, to tab “Custom fields”.
2. Unselect all and save.
**Actual behavior**
- Error message that custom fields cannot be updated. However, the custom fields are all correctly unselected (even after reload correct).
**Expected behavior**
- Error message only shown if custom fields cannot be selected / unselected.
