**Issue:**
Apache shows default page after package installation of 5.0

**Platform:**
Debian 8.2 x64 (Jessie) - virgin commandline netinstall - only most basic packages

**Install procedure:**

\- added 5.0 repo according to official package install guide

\- installed openproject with apt-get command

\- after package installation omitted “openproject configure”
\- in result webserver only displays apache default start page

**reproduceable:**
\- yes - definetly :P failed 3 times on different VMs

**(very ugly) workaround:**

\- uninstall openproject and mysql-server with “apt-get —purge remove …”

\- point to older 4.2 repo

\- repeat install procedure

\- repeat “openproject configure”

\- login to website; do basic configuration

\- change repo back to 5.0
\- do update with “apt-get update && apt-get upgrade” according to official update guide

**Conclusion:**

\- configure script of 5.0 ist buggy
\- can do an update of existing installation but not fully configure a fresh one which is a show spoiler for beginners

**Other Remarks:**

\- install guide for Debian has to be updated

\- a default basic Debian system has no “sudo” installed nor configured

\- simply copy and paste the commands from the guide will result in error messages about sudo command not found
\- remember: we’re on Debian, not on Ubuntu ;)

Best Regards

RM
