**Tested on:**
- edge.openproject.org
- Edge version: 5.0.pre9
- Core version: 3.0.0pre22
**Scenario:**
- When a planning comparison is used and a filter for work packages with status “New” is applied, even work packages which have not been altered or created during the timeframe of the planning comparison are displayed with a plus-sign in front of them.
- This behavior does not occur when the same planning comparison is used without filtering for work packages with status “New”.
**Preconditions:**
- Activated timelines module.
- Active timeline report.
- Work packages with different age (so that planning comparison can be applied).
**Steps to reproduce bug:**
1. Go to timeline report.
2. Click edit.
3. Under “Comparison” create planning comparison (e.g. relative comparison to one day ago).
4. —\> Work packages which have status “New” but have not been changed during the time of the planning comparison do not have a plus-sign in front of them
5. Click on edit timeline report.
6. Add a filter for status “New” (under “Filter planning elements”)
7. —\> All filtered workpackages have the icon “Change in planning” (“Plus sign”) in front of them (even those that did not have a plus sign in front of them in step 4.)
**Screenshot:**
When only a planning element filter is used, only work packages which have been added during the time of planning comparison have a plus-sign in front of them.

When the same planning element filter is used and work packages are filtered by the status “New”, all work packages are displayed with a plus-sign in front of them.
