**As** a project member
**I want to** know when a work package has been added to or discussed in a meeting
**so that** I have all the context about that work package
**Context**
Currently, when a work package is discussed in a meeting, the relevant meeting notes are visible under the Meetings tab. However, users will not know to look there since there is no indication of it in the Activity stream. The only indication is a number next to the Meetings tab, which is often not visible because it's hidden behind a horizontal scroll.
This feature aims to make meeting activity around a work package more transparent and visible.
**Acceptance criteria**
* Add journal entries to the work package tab when the current work package is added, removed, moved to discussed in a meeting:
* When a work package is added to a meeting
* _"Added to meeting {Meeting name} - {date}"_
* When a work package is removed from a meeting
* _"Removed from meeting {Meeting name} - {date}"_
* When a work package is moved to another occurrence
* _"Moved to meeting {Meeting name} - {date}"_
* When an outcome is added to a meeting agenda item linked to this work package
* _"Discussed in meeting {Meeting name} - {date}"_
* When the work package is created or linked to a meeting outcome:
* _"Added as outcome in meeting {Meeting name} - {date}"._
* When added to or removed from a series template:
* _Added to template for meeting series {Meeting series name}_
* _Removed from template for meeting series {Meeting series name}_
* When added to or removed from a one time template:
* _Added to meeting template {Template name}_
* _Removed from meeting template {Template name}_
* When an occurrence is created from a series template containing a WP agenda item:
* _Added to meeting {Meeting name} - {date}_
* When a meeting containing a WP agenda item is duplicated:
* _Added to meeting {Meeting name} - {date}_
* When a simple agenda item is converted to a WP:
* _Added to meeting {Meeting name} - {date}_
* When a section containing WP agenda items is deleted:
* _Removed from meeting {Meeting name} - {date}_
* _"{Meeting name} - {date}"_ is a link to the agenda item in all cases where that is possible
* When referencing a meeting that no longer exists or is cancelled
* _Added to cancelled, the meeting {Meeting name} - {date} (deleted)_ information is replaced by _(deleted)_ or _(cancelled)_
* Add a "Hide meetings updates" option to the activity tab filters
**Permissions and Visibility considerations**
* These changes will only appear to users who have both access to the work package _and_ the meeting
* We do not show anything when the meeting is not visible to a user
**Out of scope**
* \[note\] Showing a diff of the notes/text
* _Perhaps this can also be included?_
* Adding more specific journal entries for these cases:
* "{User} added the following {note} in meeting {Meeting name} {Meeting date}: {agenda item note}"
* "{User} modified the following {note} in meeting {Meeting name} {Meeting date}: {modified agenda item note}"
* "{User} added the following {outcome type} in meeting {Meeting name} {Meeting date}: {outcome note}"
* "{User} modified the following {outcome type} in meeting {Meeting name} {Meeting date}: {outcome note}"
* _\[Open\] Perhaps we don't need to show a preview of the note or decision in the Activity stream, but instead point to an anchor that directs users to the relevant item in the Meetings tab of the split screen?_
