🚀 OpenProject 17.6 is here. This release introduces the XWiki integration (Enterprise add-on), bringing project management and enterprise knowledge management closer together within a sovereign open source ecosystem.
Whether you're already using XWiki or looking for an open source alternative to proprietary combinations such as Jira and Confluence, OpenProject and XWiki make it easier to keep project work and documentation connected.
This release also includes:
🔹 New sprint goals and an All sprints overview for agile planning.
🔸 Convert meeting agenda items directly into work packages.
🔹 Configure cost types per project.
🔸 Sprint sharing is now available in the Basic Enterprise plan, making it accessible to many more Enterprise customers.
All cloud instances have already been updated. If you are running OpenProject on-premises, update to the latest version to explore the new features.
A very special thank you goes to the @XWiki team for the close collaboration on this integration. We would also like to thank @Helmholtz-Zentrum Berlin, @Stadt Köln, @Deutsche Bahn, and @Zentrum Digitale Souveränität (ZenDiS) for sponsoring released or upcoming features.
And, of course, thank you to our amazing Community and everyone contributing to OpenProject. Your feedback continues to shape both our product and our decisions. 💙
