**Preconditions**
- Work package module activated.
- Type with required work package custom fields exists.
**Steps to reproduce**
1. Go to work package page.
2. Create work package in-place (split screen) and leave required custom fields empty.
**Actual behavior**
- WP cannot be created and error message is not shown.
**Expected behavior**
- Error message is displayed (e.g. “Required custom field ”…" cannot be empty.")
