**Preconditions**
- Work package module activated.
- User is system admin.
**Steps to reproduce**
1. Navigate to ‘Administration’ \> ‘Settings’ \> ‘General’ tab.
2. Behind the host name enter a space character and save.
3. Update / create a work package.
**Actual behavior**
- Host name can be saved with space character.
- Links in email notifications contain space character and therefore don’t work.
**Expected behavior**
- Spaces can either not be entered at the end or are escaped when saving.
