_installation with docker Compose was done 10. Sept 2025 according to instructions on the Manual (https://www.openproject.org/docs/installation-and-operations/installation/docker-compose/)_

1. git clone https://github.com/opf/openproject-docker-compose.git --depth=1 --branch=stable/16 openproject

2. edit .env

3. sudo mkdir -p /var/openproject/assets

4. sudo chown 1000:1000 -R /var/openproject/assets

5. OPENPROJECT\_HTTPS=false docker compose up -d --build --pull always


after seeing Version 15.5.1 tried upgrade as in [https://www.openproject.org/docs/installation-and-operations/installation/docker-compose/#upgrade](https://www.openproject.org/docs/installation-and-operations/installation/docker-compose/#upgrade) ->did not change anything

updating Database to v17 worked (https://www.openproject.org/docs/installation-and-operations/misc/migration-to-postgresql17/)

### What is the buggy behavior?

_Please describe the bug in as much detail as possible. Example:_

* docker compose is not pulling the lateest stable release Begin of the insertionandEnd of the insertion Begin of the deletion and End of the deletion

* update procedure does not work either, some Mesage like most recent version already pulled
